Life is about making decision. You can continue to live as you have always been living, and in so doing, resign yourself to a life of unhappiness and mediocrity….. or you can take the high road, so to speak, and step up to your biggest life. Then you being to understand that the world want you to win and it is a place of great abundance, opportunity and majesty. 5 years ago I made a decision to take the high road to greatness, and I am enjoying my journey of life.

The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari

This is one of those book that I read again and again, just like "think and grow rich". It's about Julian Mantle, a high-profile lawyer who collapses in the middle of a trial and decides to find the purpose of life by traveling to the Himalayas where he meets a group of sages who impart their wisdom to him via a fable.

The fable starts in a magnificent garden with a lighthouse in the middle of the grounds. Out of the lighthouse walks a Sumo wrestler who is naked except for a pink wire cable covering his privates. He slips and falls on a stopwatch that’s been lying on the floor and loses consciousness. However, the wrestler wakes up to the fresh fragrance of yellow roses coming from a distance. He looks over and then discovers that there is a diamond-studded pathway which he takes.

Life is like a river. 人生就像河流

人生就像一条河流有两河岸。在一河岸我们找到幸福, 在另一河岸我们发现悲伤。当生命沿着河流，我们将不断不可避免擦到两河岸。真正的诀窍是坚持不留任何一个河岸太长。停留幸福河岸阻止您提高，人们可能会变得过于自满。停留悲伤河岸让你停留在过去，你看不到你的世界，你只看到你想要的世界。

唯一的人没有问题，就巳经埋葬在6英尺地下了。人生就要面对的问题的勇气，克服恐惧。这就是人生的成长和终身学习。生命是一个游戏的机会，收集智慧。

我们走到这世界不是偶然。我们来这里的目的，就是要成为有影响力的人，不平凡的生活，而不是另一个过客。

Life is like a river with two banks. On one bank we find happiness and the other bank we find sorrow. As life move along the river, we will constantly inevitably brush up against both banks. The real trick is not to stay stuck on either one too long. Stay always on the happiness bank prevent you to keep improving, one might become too complacent of striving more. Stay always on the sorrow bank keep you stuck in the past, you don’t see the world as you are, you see the world as you want.

The only people without problems and adversity are 6 feet under the ground. To live is to face problems and the courage to conquer fear. These things are vehicles for growth, expansion and life-long learning. Life’s is a game of opportunities to collect wisdom.

We are not on this earth by chance. We are here for a purpose and that is to grow into a man and woman of great impact, to live an extraordinary life, but not to be just another soul pass by the earth.
