Late Poor People 穷人最喜欢迟到

Do you arrive on time for appointments, meetings, training or other functions? Is being on time a habit with you? Being on time can boost the respect people have for you, and your future success. It is one of the criteria to determine a person had the self-responsibility to being a trainer or mentor in future.

We all know of people who are regularly late. What do you think of them? Disorganized? Uncaring? Self-important? Self absorbed? Unable to perform? The thoughts aren’t positive, that’s for sure!
What do you think the team will think if their leader had a habit of perennial lateness always. I’m not talking about the occasional late arrival—unforeseen situations happen to all of us. I’m talking about people whose lateness is a habit.

We can’t get into why these people are always late. There are thousands of reasons. It’s mystery in life. What we do know is that it is an easy fix. And if you want to be successful in your business, you’ll make a big change—fast.

Perennial lateness inhibits success. It’s annoying. It slows progress. And yes, it is disrespectful. Disrespectful to the mentor, disrespectful to the team, most important disrespectful to oneself. My mentor once told me in 2004: “Being late is one of the most selfish things a person do, it show that this person is not worth for you to focus on, NEXT better player!” Many top leader share that opinion too.

We have a leader meeting fortnightly. We set it at 7am. Huh, why 7am? Because we want to know who is worth focus and grooming them to be a millionaire. “Millionaire never late, late person will never be a millionaire”

Apply the Bruce Lee MIND. 象李小龙的脑

Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash! Be water my friend, empty your cup always---- Bruce Lee.

Well, just like this cup, people's mind are full to the brim. They have filled their minds so full of their opinions, ideas and biases that nothing can get in. And in my business that is rapidly changing, where people must constantly be learning new concepts and equipping themselves with new skills, new tactics. I once had a conversation with my partner, when mention he need to attend training again. He mention : " Oh, but I already know everything, just that I miss the class and did not pass"....... In my mind I say" Oh yeah! sure, if you already know everything, why aren't you a millionaire now?!" " The day you think you already know everything, is the day your everything will be gone" that is a deadly character flaw.

To be succesful, simple . EMTPY YOUR CUP. Have a Bruce Lee mind. Constantly be receptive to new knowledge. Always view yourself as lifelong students, always stay in the system focus group. No matter what is your pin rank or position, had a BEGINNER'S MIND, this is a essential attitude for every leader destined for success. And ALWAYS BE HUMBLE, DON'T LET YOUR HEAD GROW BIG.

Big IDEAS, grand VISION, created FUTURE

Leaders must have a compelling vision for the future stirring inside of them. The vision makes plain a leader’s identity, direction, and pattern of behavior. They have a vividly imagined future vision. They know precisely in 5 years times where they want to go, what they want to acheive and concentrate their energies and events on getting there. With this then they can build a visionary team full of passionate and compassionate people.
An "A" team clearly envision their future paths, yet at the same time work hard on the present moment. They have a vision that inspires them to reach for the diamonds, align with their system' mission.


Great organizations begin with great leaders. And every great leader had bold dreams. Effective leaders are visionaries who craft clear picture of the future and link them to the present activities to fulfil it, and the vision is put across to the people that are leading it.


A leader cannot delegate the responsibility to see the future. They may share the responsibility, but ultimately, it’s the leader’s job to make time today to ensure the direction of tomorrow. That's the ability to be present-based but future-oriented. "Leading the present, inventing the future"

Learn to say NO. Stay focus on system


Everytime you say yes to something that is unimportant, you are saying no to something that is important. "Yes" men and "Yes" woman never create anything great.



Say no to friend who wants to meet you for gossiping. Say no to your partner who wants to spread his negatvity and cynicism. Say no to corporate who keep asking you to take part in organising events. Instead, stay focus on building your business, stay focus on contributing and support the system that is giving you your business. " STAY FOCUS ON SYSTEM AND KEEP LOW PROFILE ON CORPORATE MATTERS". Sure some people around you might not be happy, But would you rather live your life according to the approval of others or aligned with your truth and your dreams? Who cares!! Let see who is moving up to the level first that is important! Successful people stay focus on the system, keep a low profile. People who are always on high profile usually have empty pocket in their pants. HIGH PROFILE PEOPLE "SHOW-OFF", LOW PROFILE PEOPLE "SHOW-HAND".


Once there was a friend of mine. He was one of the active member in the business. Having only a limited amount of time and energy to build his business so that his team can escalate to the next level. One day, the corporate ask him to particpate in a roadshow to promote the image of the company, so this partner oblige to it. Another day, the corporate invited him to be a speaker in the coming event, so this partner complied with this request and accept the invitation. Another month, the corporate ask him again to be the master of ceremony, again he agreed. Soon this partner had no time for his own business and his team performance went down. He is not able to move up to the next level because he forgot to focus on his priority. He neglected his primary duty of leading his team and operated the system and paid a high price. Today, he is not longer in the business.
" System first, team second, individual third and...... nothing else matters"

Be a North Star. Be a Mentor

Every star in the moonlit sky is bright. But one star in particular is brilliant, we all know it as the North Star - the most luminescent of all. Likewise in business, everyone can be a coach or sponsor for someone, however, only the most highest integrity will call upon to serve as a Mentor.

There is so much turnmoil and turbulence in the reality of world today. Many good people are giving up hope, they are losing focus on their reasons to be in this world and losing faith in their power to make a difference. They are giving in to the demands of making a living rather then designing their own life. Many people in our society are giving up on the gift of living. The North Star will act as a torchlight for the world to have light, hope, direction and a purpose. As the laws say: " The Purpose of Life Is a Life of Purpose".

In resemblance, a mentor in a organisation illuminated people with guidance and direction. For they have teach what they do, for they have teach what they have action. They have walk the path before us and with their experience thru the roads, blaze a path for all to see. Like a light, mentor illuminate you from darkness to light. Like a bridge, mentor walk you for not knowing to knowing. Like a North Star, mentor transcend you from skeptical to total faith.

Thus, the day you are call upon, be the brightest mentor. Your mentorship will ultimately be a manifestation of the deepest and the best that you had to give in an organisation. It will be a reflection of the person you now are and the person you aim to be. A mentor is about fulfilling a organisation mission and vision while actualizing your humanity. In the nature of my business, when a person become a qualifed mentor, they are awarded with a GOLD PIN. They wear it with the highest pride on their shoulder. And in that pin there embrace a "North Star" in it. Simply put : "A mentor is a North Star"
