Do you have more memories than dreams or more dreams than memories? One sign that tell a person is in trouble (or will be in trouble) is when they tell me how good they were in the past. Your don’t want to celebrate your past glory forever, you learn from your experience, that was then and this is now. The experience you have in year 2007 was LAST year and this is NOW year 2008.

“When memories exceed dreams, the end is near.” The hallmark of a truly successful leader is the willingness to abandon what made it successful and start fresh. Too many people are short-sighted, spending too many days looking backward. They see dignity, affirmation and self-worth not by mining the present but by chewing on the past.

This year we will have to work massively, build faster and become smarter to compete, collaborate and innovate on the business. We are generation Q , the generation with more dream than memories, the generation that wake up every morning and not only imagines that things are better but acts on that imagination every day. We are the masters of our own imagination while other is prisoners.
